Villa Pisani
Known as the "Queen of Venetian Villas," it is one of the main tourist destinations in the Veneto region. It is located along the Riviera del Brenta and its 114 rooms have hosted doges, kings and emperors over the years. Today it is a national museum that perfectly preserves furniture and works of art from the 18th and 19th centuries. Among these priceless works you can view Gianbattista Tiepolo's masterpiece, "Glory of the Pisani Family." The fresco is located on the ceiling of the majestic Ballroom.
Almorò Pisani described the Villa's charm with these words, "everything that can recreate sight and satisfy taste." Even today it is wonderful to get lost among the original architecture, the labyrinth of hedges, the precious citrus collection in the Orangery, and admire the plants and flowers in the Tropical Greenhouses.
